Uniden Cordless Dual Handset

 

This phone is an exceptional value, fast shipping, thanks newegg. I highly recommend this phone to everyone. It has great features, nice and lightweight. So much easier than having only 1 phone and you only need the phone line for the main receiver.

not the best choice

 

we have had our uniden phones for 3 months, and they worked ok until we got call waiting, except that you cannot intercom between two phones. When we enabled call waiting, a couple of UGLY traits became apparent. First, when you get a 10 digit number...

low cost, good if you don't have call waiting

no conference, CID callback doesn't work, CID waiting isn't filtered

Overall, a full featured cordless telephone based on solid technology.

2 handsets in the box w/speakerphone on the base ; great sound quality

No wallmount, but if you don't need the base keypad, TRU448 or TRU448-2 is wallmount-able

Nice, but extra work

 

I bought this phone at CostCo and have been relatively pleased with it. I was especially excited about the two handsets. Unfortunately the second handset didn't turn out to be quite as good as I'd hoped... Here's why:

decent sound quality, 2 handsets, lots of features

Needs to share data between handsets
