Astar 19" LCD TV Review

 

The Astar 19" LCD TV, Model: LTV-19BG has all of the features that big-screen televisions have, but just in a shrunken frame. If you're looking for a great secondary television, then I highly recommend this TV.

Do not Buy

 

Do not purchase this monitor or any Astar product unless you are willing to risk the chance of a AS IS condition. I do not blame Newegg for this product, but I am recommending the removal of their ENTIRE product line do to lack of support.

Cheap, Multiple inputs, and did I say cheap

A completly worthless peice of junk. I purchase over $10k worth of product from newegg alone, and this is the worst product I have ever bought. Responce time is false, the image is soft and blury at best, and one of the two unit I purchased died 34...

ASTAR - Okay

 

Overall a good buy. There is much room for improvement.

Cheap, large screen, decent picture quality, accepts numerous inputs

Sound quality is weak, the picture had to be tweaked quite a lot to find an optimal setting, sound sometimes does not tune with the channel

stay away from astar!!!!

 

older customer reviews for this product seem to have been erased but if you check they reviews from other astar tv's defects are the nor not the exception

new egg is great

WOW!! unit broke twice called for service they told me everybodys products have defects sony ect.. they aren't any different service person @ astar was condescending. they of course admitted no fault. I dont think I have ever experienced this many...

buy something else!!!!

nice picture ok sound

used it for 23 days and broke spent 2 months in the shop used it for a month broke agian. same problem main board is shot wont turn off no picture except color bars I hope astar will give me my money back

Forget about the rebate

 

If you consider the price without the rebate (which they don't send), it's just an average deal. Nothing special that you couldn't get at Best Buy.

Cheap (if rebate included)

It's been 3 months for me and no rebate. Company continues to blow me off
