I bought this television in October of 2008. I also purchased the 4 year warranty in case but have had no performance issues. I am extremely satisfied with this buy (bought from newegg). I was a bit worried about the delivery of something so big,...

Crisp 1080p picture. Purchased when flat-screen prices were very low due to recession. Good sound and 47" of HD/Blu-Ray is just awesome. Lots of inputs on the backside. For the past two years this television has continued to prove itself

Speakers on television sometimes vibrate during low frequency output. For example, in the movie No Country For Old Men some of the ambient bass sounds cause it to almost rattle. Finally, after two years of waiting, have it hooked up to surround sound....

Great picture sound is junk

 

NEWEGG SUPER FAST SHIPPING TO MY DOOR i wish they would use super fast shipping to send this TV BACK TO LG and piut new speaker in this unit!

very good picture for non sports shows or fast action movies

high motion blur the sound on this unit fires down and the speakers are aweful i mean the worst i have a $100.00 APEX THAT HAS BETTER SOUND

CA to FL over 3000 miles no problems getting it. plug it in works great. we compared side by side in stores, all you can do is pay more . We shoot HDV movies for companys and Wedding, a great demo screen with all the inputs you need

Buy one and be happy

Unreal how it looks, like you can reach inside the set. I have Directv HD and can never go back to a reg set again. HDMI setup was so easy

Little higher price than other source, but I stay with Newegg for their excellent dervice

Arrived 1 day early, box a little tattered, but no damage. TV looks great, sharp picture on just SD DVD and SD satellite, HD comming soon

Great TV and great price point...

 

I am happy with my purchase.

While I'm not a professional A/V tech, I would say this is a nice TV for the price. The color does adjust to be fairly accurate. The TV works well with vista media center that I run

You will need to adjust the sharpness down from the 100 preset to get rid of jaggies. Color out of the box is not completely accurate, but good and much better than the Toshiba hl167 series set I returned

Cheap n Sweet

 

I've seen this baby in action and I must say, I was surprised. They had a playstation 3 on it playing COD Modern Warfare 2 and man did I love the detail in this game, and the TV did great

Good overall TV for the price

 

I purchased this TV two months ago when it was on sale at Best Buy for $1500 with 18 month no interest. I was in the market for a new TV but I had a specific budget and needed a TV that would be viewable from 9 feet away or more.

1080p/24p 3 HDMI inputs
