Has just blown up after 2 years

After 2 years of once a week use this machine has just blown up. Electrics have failed, with a bang. I am now being asked to pay a lot of money for a repair/replacement scheme, although I believe a machine that fails in 2 years is not fit for purpose...

Do not buy unless you enjoy Ironing

The machine says IWDE7145 on it (label does not include the "B").Noisy and seems to wear out waistbands on underpants and collars on shirts.Washing comes out very badly creased. To be fair, the 1400 spin does get stuff pretty dry.

We have had this machine for a month now to replace another Indesit washer/drier that was over 10 years old and had a problem with the control board. As we were very happy with that machine, we wanted something similar. It has a good spin, the laundry...
