The rinse section only drains until 1 spin at the end. They do not recommend liquid soap either. The rinse option as my wash was still soapy using skin care and medic only rinses once ?I returned it .

It's a really nice machine - very quiet and easy to use with a quick 30 minute programme. I dont think it spins independently - just spins as part of a rinse and spin programme - but no big deal. I love it! The John Lewis team were as always, amazing....
