Don't know if it is the webcam or skype, but skype works initially but after about 10 minutes, the webcam will not work and then skype stops working. I have tried many fixes but none work. The webcam has a very good picture and works well.

Since I order this camera for my daughter, I never see her to much. She acts like she hit the lottery or something, thanks and best wishes tothemakers of this fine product and thanks to dell as well
